Hi, I'm Subhechha.
I tell satellites where to look.

I write attitude and orbit control software at Pixxel. It decides which way a spacecraft faces, and how gracefully it turns to get there. On the side I run AnyPrint3D, a tiny 3D-printing service: you send the file, I send the object.

↖ Move your cursor (or tap). The satellite slews to track you with a real PD loop, no tweening. Leave it alone and it goes back to pointing at Earth.

Now

At Pixxel I work on guidance, navigation and control for a constellation of hyperspectral imaging satellites. Most days are some mix of quaternions, GNSS data, Python and MATLAB, and convincing a simulation to agree with reality.

Trajectory

Three waypoints so far. Not fuel-optimal, but every leg was worth it.

    Tiruchirappalli

BTech, Instrumentation & Control · NIT Trichy

Where I first got hooked on control. I modelled quadrotors, wrote neural-net models of shape-memory actuators, got robots driving in formation, and closed PID loops on Arduinos. Spent my spare time at the robotics club (RMI), the astronomy club (Nakshatra) and on Pragyan's technical council.

MSc Spaceflight · TU Delft → R&D Engineer · Radac

Did an MSc in Space Exploration. My thesis tracked down modelling errors in the orbit determination of the Sentinel satellites.

Then four years at Radac teaching a radar to read the sea. I designed a real-time wave-field estimator for their phased-array FMCW "Outlooking" radar. It hit ~95% accuracy on simulated North Sea states, and I then tuned it on real data from the vessel Acta Auriga.

Back in India, pointing cameras at the planet from orbit. The "attitude" in AOCS is the spacecraft's, not mine, I promise.

Upload it. I'll print it.

A tiny 3D-printing service I built and run myself. Drop in a model, get a quote, and pick up the print. Spacecraft are hard to hold in your hand, so this is the other way I get to make things.
